Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your hotel
With a warm welcome on your arrival at Entebbe international airport, People’s choice tours company driver will brief you and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at Protea Hotel or any other arranged hotel as you relax from the jet lag and prepare for the next day’s adventure.
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park
After having breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and embark on a road trip to western Uganda, aiming the Gorilla land of Bwindi Impenetrable forest National park. This is a long day drive of approximately 7 hours with lunch stopover en route. Though long, the drive takes you through different features to include tropical rain forests, savannah fields and the terraced hills of Kigezi famously known as the Switzerland of East Africa. There will be a stopover at the equator for a while to buy some snacks and take some photos. Arrival is late evening for relaxation as you wait for the next day’s adventure with dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable forest and then to Lake Mburo National park
After breakfast there is briefing by park ranger guides, then depart with picnic lunch boxes to start the trekking. The activity can last up to 4 hours or more to find the Mountain gorillas as you hike up and down slippery slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. Hence you will have packed lunch for this activity. This active quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought-after creatures-the mountain gorillas. Upon reaching them, you will have a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos
Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer to Entebbe international airport
After having an early breakfast, we go for a morning game drive in Lake Mburo national park. This park is famous for Zebras, Impalas, Giraffes, Elands, Cape Buffalos, and many tropical bird species. After we return to Kampala and transfer to Entebbe international airport your flight depending on your flight schedule.
